Fees could be lower

eToro provides low fees on crypto transactions, but some competitors offer even lower rates. If you’re a frequent trader who isn’t afraid to move digital currencies in and out of your portfolio quickly, it pays off to be aware of the most competitive fee structure available – 0.1% or less per transaction! 

For those with more ‘buy-and-hold’ aspirations though: don’t forget that any inactive accounts may have an additional yearly inactivity fee from eToro – so if you plan for long term investments make sure your account stays active!

eToro used to be primarily a CFD broker that let you trade stocks and ETFs also in the form of CFDs, if you set the leverage to greater than one.
